War es bisher nur mit dem Exchange Server 2003 SP2 in Kombination mit dem Messaging & Security Feature Pack for Windows
Mobile 5.0 möglich, die Windows Mobile Geräte vernünftig bzgl. Sicherheit insbesondere im Enterprise Umfeld zu verwalten und zu administrieren, so ist dies nun auch direkt mit dem System Center Mobile Device Manager 2008 möglich. Das schöne daran ist, daß man die Software zwar in Kombination mit dem Exchange Server nutzen kann, jedoch ist dies nun nicht mehr vorausgesetzt.
